Conservatory Renovation

A local family reached out to us for assistance in renovating their aging conservatory. They had a lean-to structure with a glass roof that felt too cold, and they desired a space that resembled an extension of their home for year-round use.

After discussing various options with the family, including roof styles, tile choices, and color selections, we returned with detailed drawings and CAD designs.

They decided to retain the existing base, as it was in good condition and didn’t require replacement. Next, they chose energy-efficient ‘A’ rated windows and doors in Anthracite grey on white, featuring Planitherm Total, argon-filled double-glazed units, and complemented with chrome hardware. We topped it off with a hipped back Edwardian Guardian Warm Roof system, adorned with Charcoal grey Metrotile Esprit roof tiles and finished with Anthracite grey ogee guttering..

The family was absolutely thrilled with their new glazed extension. This conservatory is now a usable space throughout the year, thanks to the energy-efficient double-glazed windows and the highly insulated Guardian Warm Roof system.
